That was the concept of a story I'm calling "the Day the Earth Went Quiet" (title inspired by the 1951 film). I took heavy inspiration from the liminality and nostalgia present in 17776 by Jon Bois. Not sure if it will ever become anything, it was just a thought I had in the shower that I just couldn't shake. Thank's for reading!
